These films

These
films are made in order to explain the bowls sport to everyone.
The players are among the best players in our club; therefore you
will probably think that playing is not to hard. This is however not
the case.
the 5th video shows that even the best players sometimes make misses
plays. Notice the curve that the bowl makes at the end.
Theo (our oldest member) plays a "drive" (4th video). Sometimes it is
good to interrupt the "head". As you can see in the film it does not
succeed.
Gerard plays well in the first two videos.
Maureen shows the perfect throwing technique in the 7th video.
The videos 8,9 and 10 show a perfect first throw. A good throw makes
the jack disappear. After this the jack is made free and the opponents
win with an excellent game.
The video's 11 up to and including 17 show some deliveries of the
individual finale between Mien de Brieder and Gerard Mathôt.
Viedeo 11 shows the delivery of the jack, centered by the referee.
Gerard Mathôt won this finale.
