This notice board (in dutch) speaks for itself.

Our club, Bowls Skip 94, play their game on an artificial hockey field with an inlay of sand. If not to much sand is distributed, the field is excellent to play bowls on.

Our playing field is 28 mt long and is divided in a couple of lanes.
The width of the playing field depends on the number of rinks (lanes). See Rink.
The number of rinks (lanes) depends on the number of players that appear on the Monday afternoon (club afternoon).

Normally we play with pairs (two against two). If 20 people appear we need 5 rinks.
The width of the field will then have to be 5 x 5 mt, plus 4 pathways between the rinks of 1.5 mt, makes a total of 31 mt. In this case the width is larger than the length.

The bounderies of the rinks are marked.

Bowls Skip 94 is very satisfied with the opportunity to play on the playing fields of the Duyvestein sport park.
